Fiona Oubridge Headteacher
Mrs Oubridge is delighted to be our Headteacher. Her role is to ensure that the children in our school learn exceptionally well in all they do and to share the gospel with one another every day. Mrs Oubridge enjoys meeting the parents and discussing their children's learning. Mrs Oubridge and her team work together to develop our school to make it an exciting place to learn and grow.
Julie Thomas Assistant Head and Upper KS2 Phase Leader
Mrs Thomas is a talented teacher and Assistant Headteacher who is also a great mentor for student teachers. Mrs Thomas is always kind, calm and supportive as she shares the love of God in all she does. Mrs Thomas supports student teachers and any ECTs as a mentor. She is also one of our English leads.
Rebecca Mathieson Early Years Phase Leader
Mrs Mathieson is our Early Years leader and an expert in how young children learn. Mrs Mathieson leads a large and skilled Early Years Team to ensure that our children are welcomed into our school and learn really well through child-initiated play and interaction. She always thinks hard about each individual child and knows the children very well. Mrs Mathieson also oversees outdoor across the school.
Becca Heaton Early Years Teacher
Mrs Heaton is an exceptional member of the Early years team. Her expert knowledge of each child comes through in all her teaching and she loves to help children learn how to read and write. Mrs Heaton is our PSHE Leader and is passionate in making sure that every child's needs are met.
Jenny Lintott Early Years Teacher
Mrs Lintott is our DT Leader as well as an exceptional member of the Early Years team. She has a great sense of humour which she shares with the children in her class and makes sure that every child is given the very best opportunities to develop.
Rachel Johnston KS1 Phase Leader
Miss Johnston is a lovely, kind and gentle person who teaches with great skill and thoughtfulness. She also has a great sense of humour and enjoys sharing this with everyone. Miss Johnston is our one of our English leads and loves reading with and to the children.
Sian Collins KS1 Teacher
Mrs Collins enjoys helping the children in her class to grow and develop well. She is very kind, calm and helpful, always thinking about how to ensure the children she teaches make very good progress. She is passionate about teaching phonics and oversees this across the school.
Sarah Dalton KS1 Teacher
Mrs Dalton teaches in Year 1 and is very thoughtful and kind. Mrs Dalton is always conscientious, spending her time getting to know the children and thinking about how to help them learn even better in every lesson. Mrs Dalton is our Science lead and loves to help children become inquisitive about the world around them.
Janine Bellingan KS1 Teacher
Mrs Bellingan teaches in Year 2. She greatly enjoys getting to know each child and making sure that they are all achieving their best. She is passionate about the environment and leads Geography.
Mary Talty Lower KS2 Leader
Mrs Talty has a great sense of fun and enjoys sharing her humour with the children in her class. Mrs Talty is extremely talented with computing and is a great computing lead. She always has a great understanding of all the children in her phase.
Christine Travell Lower KS2 Teacher
Mrs Travell is a Year 3 teacher. She is very organised and helps the children to think about their learning really well, being clear on the next steps needed for them to progress. She is very kind and thoughtful, helping everyone including being part of the PTA. She is our History lead.
Emma Frith Lower KS2 Teacher
Miss Frith is a talented teacher who ensures a calm and purposeful atmosphere for all learners in her class. Miss Frith is very creative and always thinks of lovely ways to excite and stimulate the lessons. Miss Frith looks after our library and loves delivering our pop-up art club.
Siobhan Scott Lower KS2 Teacher
Mrs Scott teaches in Year 4. She has wonderful artistic talents, in art and music, as well as being a kind and reflective person. She is always thinking about how to ensure that the children in her class make the best progress possible. She loves being involved with the Pop up Art club.
Jack Adams Upper KS2 Teacher
Mr Adams teaches in Year 5. He is very friendly and always has a smile on his face. He loves to help children learn and thinks of way to help all children be the best they can. Mr Adams is our Maths Leader and is passionate about ensuring excellent progress for all our children.
Clare Nash KS2 Teacher
Mrs Nash is a great teacher and works in Year 5. She is a talented musician and a very active sportswoman who enjoys any sporting activity both in school and at home.
Rita Page KS2 Teacher
Mrs Page teaches in Year 5. She is a kind and thoughtful person who makes sure that all the children feel secure and valued. She very much enjoys sharing her love of drama to enrich the children's learning. She is very much a part of the Parish and is the RE lead.
Richard Shaw Upper KS2 Teacher
Mr Shaw is enthusiastic and energetic in all his teaching. He teaches in Year 6. He is our PE leader and loves to share his passion for sport and learning in all areas of the curriculum with the children.
Niamh Taylor Upper KS2 Teacher
Mrs Taylor has a great sense of fun and enjoys teaching the children in her class in a creative and interesting way. She teaches in Year 6. Mrs Taylor loves running and sporting activities. She is also our MFL and EAL lead.
Emma Challis School SENCO
Mrs Challis works hard to ensure that our children's needs are identified and interventions put in place. Mrs Challis is kind and thoughtful and works tirelessly to enable all our children to make outstanding progress and enjoy school. She is also a fabulous artist and enjoys sharing her talents with children. Mrs Challis leads Well being and supporting our pupil premium children.
Maria Sherring Area Business Manager
Maria worked for many years in the city as an Associate Finance Director and has worked in school finance since her children were young. Maria works across 3 schools in KCSP and works very hard to ensure that the school runs effectively and is always willing to help and support staff and children in all she does.
