Welcome
Welcome to the St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Primary School website.
As a school we aim to be a warm and welcoming community where the love of God is shared and our mission statement is lived out every day. We strive for our children to be happy and to learn to the best of their ability as they enjoy a stimulating and wide curriculum and so fulfil their potential in all areas of life.
We are proud to be an Academy, part of Kent Catholic Schools' Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust of Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Southwark with schools across Kent . We have a link on our Links and Awards page for you to view the KCSP website where you will find KCSP documentation including the Memorandum and Articles of Association and KCSP Master Funding .
St Margaret's is situated on the outskirts of Tonbridge looking out over beautiful farmland, two miles north of the railway station. The school was built in 1972 and then extended in 1997 and then further by the addition of the 'Gallery' and the Early Years Classrooms.
We currently have 364 pupils in fourteen classes from Reception to Year Six. We are very proud to play a large part in our parish, Corpus Christi. We hold regular Masses and Liturgies in our school Hall and Sanctuary, to which families and parishioners are welcome.
I hope that you will enjoy browsing our website and find all the information you need. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you require any further information.
With all best wishes
Fiona Oubridge, Headteacher
